This interactive course offers attendees take-away tools for helping students with selective mutism find their brave voices. Direct teaching of the techniques “stimulus fading” and “shaping” will be provided with opportunities for attendees to practice their newly learned skills. The critical need for an initial evaluation and on-going data-based progress monitoring will be emphasized.
